We will be flying MAN-MAD-LPA (Business Class, Iberia Express) at the beginning of March. UK passports. Nearly 4 hours between flights booked on one itinerary. We have never transitted from international to domestic at MAD before and seek the group's advice. We'll have to clear immigration at MAD but will we have to pick up and re-check our bags or will they be through-checked?

Any additional suggestions on spending our time at MAD appreciated.
