I actually mean West to East.

I'm planning a visit with my wife in late Sep. Arriving in China by bus from Pakistan and then planning to take flight from Kashgar to Beijing or Shanghai. But the singles fares (e.g. Kashgar-Beijing) I'm getting are higher than my London-Pakistan/China-London return fares on Qatar Airways!

Is there a less expensive way to get from East to West? Basically we want to travel to Kashgar and then see Beijing and Shanghai. And then return back to London.

Any advice will be appreciated.
