I’ve booked three nights with IHG and to use most of my points, I’ve split the bookings into two. Apart from spending the points, I also paid about 130€ fees. The transaction made with IHG for these fees was reverted (so money returned) and I don’t know why. I’ve received no communication from them and the bookings still show up as active.
Has anyone encountered this or can advise on what to do? Want to make sure the rooms are indeed booked.
Was this cash + points or fee like in amenity fee? Some hotel do not charge amentiy fees on point booking and in some cases the booking system does not get this right. In so far, I would contact the hotel.
