Due to fly NRT-AMS-GLA later today (Japan time) and the NRT-AMS leg has been delayed by 2hrs 50mins at the moment due to an aircraft swap from the 777-200 to a 787-9. The above message has appeared as part of My Trip in the KLM app.
Any ideas what the vouchers will be? When I click on redeem my vouchers it comes up with an error.
The connecting flight is on time, however the layover at AMS has been reduced from 3hrs 55m to 1hr 5m. Would this have any bearing on what vouchers I am entitled to?
So it turned out the voucher in the app was a €15 refreshments voucher to use at AMS. My flight was further delayed leaving Tokyo waiting on paperwork from AMS and had a flight time of 14:10 meaning I arrived in AMS at 22:10 and missed the GLA flight. I have submitted a claim for the compensation due to having to overnight in AMS.
On the duty of care side, I was able to get hotel vouchers within a minute or so from the self serve machine and was put up in the Park Plaza.
