JetBlue has always had the most seat pitch of any domestic airline. In the early days I'm almost certain it was 34". Plus, I can't imagine they ever flew IAD-OAK in the early- or even mid-2000s (the airline didn't even start operations until 2000), as neither were a hub city (it was initially JFK and LGB in the earlier years).

But, of course you are correct about B6 having generous seat pitch. At around the same time, AA had mrtc, but B6 seat pitch was still a little better. United had economy plus, which was better than both, but that only comprised about 15% of its economy seats.
