With the MAX groundings over at United, I've switched all my flights to Delta for the time being. I pre ordered the meatballs for my recent flight, and I was very blown away.
As a United flier, mentioning meatballs, polenta., and broccolini in the same sentence reminds me of traumatic catering experiences, but I'm glad to say this was quite delicious.
Side note, I'm VERY impressed with Delta Sync, they did a really great job with the UI.
This is actually one of my favorite meals that DL currently has on offer. I had a trip last week that I had pre-selected it on, only to have the first segment so massively delayed that I ended up cancelling the entire trip as it would've been too short otherwise. I will admit not getting these meatballs definitely added to the disappointment.
