I’m traveling BKK-SIN-SFO (on TG+UA) in Feb with a ~10 hour layover from 10:30pm-9am. Traveling on a single ticket and luggage will be checked through.

Trying to decide between staying airside at one of the transit hotels, or going landslide and staying at one of the nearby hotels. The reviews/ratings for the airside transit hotels seem pretty bad and those options are certainly pricey.

I’d like to maximize the sleep time and minimize additional time for transport, immigration, security, etc. but haven’t been to Singapore in 6-7 years so not sure how long it might add.

Any recent experiences or advice on best options for a short transit stay?
