Has anyone applied for a Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card and received an instant card number or has had their card instantly added to Apple Pay?

I am looking to book a flight for this Wednesday and take advantage of the free checked baggage benefit, so I can't wait for the card to come in the mail.
