I'm new to using miles generally when booking flights, but I have points I want to travel over to lifemiles to book a United flight. My girlfriend has airline status with United and was curious whether if I use miles to book the flights with her frequent flyer number whether we will retain the status or not (basically will it show up in United later and we can use her points to upgrade the flight from economy for example). Any clarity on this would be greatly appreciated!
