This is sad. I'm not fussed by the end of the WS-Disney partnership, but it was always fun to see these planes around, especially as airline liveries get more and more boring all the time. The Fantasia plane was definitely my favourite of the two.
I'm surprised the paint job lasted so well, 10 years is really the limit, they are both in to the 11th year since painting now. Besides the sponsorship cost, to redo those paint jobs is about half a million dollars each on top of the normal paint job cost, so I'm sure it is difficult to justify for the benefits it leverages, now that the novelty factor has somewhat worn off.
