I rented at LIH for the period of Dec 20 to 28th this past december. I booked a Full size and got a full size (Nissan Altima). Really no complain with the rental.
We stayed 3 nights in Princeville, and 5 nights in Poipu, there were heavy rain and flooding for most of the days we were in Princeville, so a SUV would've been more suitable, but the Altima was fine.
The places we drove to, didn't notice any EV chargers, definitely not at the hotels we stayed at (Westin and the Sheraton), so make sure there are chargers available for where you are near.

Oh, careful with those roosters, lol, they are very protective of those benches by the rental car shuttle pickup spot. lol
