I am confused about Krisflyer award flight refund policy. I had a flight booked with Krisflyer Award from PHX-DEN-MUC. Munich Airport was closed from snow and DEN-MUC was canceled. We took the PHX-DEN flight as we were already checked in, at the airport, and know there is a fee for no show booking. When I called to request refund for DEN-MUC, I was told KrisFlyer miles cannot be refunded for partially used award tickets. How was I supposed to handle this? Should I have just missed the flight and paid the no show fee to not forfeit my Krisflyer points?
