Oh, I have fond memories of Pioneer Chicken; they had a few locations on Oahu when I was in elementary school (including one at the Kahala Mall near the McDonald's). Their boneless chicken strips and chips was a go-to meal. I also recall an intersection in the Long Beach/Wilmington area which had a KFC, Popeye's, Church's, and Pioneer on each corner.
