Looking at the linked schedule doesn't look like KOA is totally shutting down except for overnight work and staying open with a shortened runway. To me this says bigger planes probably go to HNL then fly interisland on SW or HA to KOA. So would add a leg for mainland and international flights but not affect us inter island fliers.
