I have to say, I don't quite understand where they're going to pitch this. People who have status either generally don't check bags so often, and if they do have priority lanes which means they don't have to queue for long.

People without status who have to queue in longer Y lines don't travel enough to justify the outlay.

Doesn't seem to have a readily identifiable market.
