Marykatesmom I had the same issue recently and if you haven't already make sure that whatever reservations you make now are coded as club upgrade reservations and not just normal reservations as you will not be able to attach a certificate to a normal reservation in the future and will have to make a new reservation at whatever the current rate is when you get your 2024 certs.
I know this because I called and tried to make make a club upgrade reservation for June a couple months ago and the Ritz Carlton CSRs would not do it as they said my existing certificates expired in on 2/1/23 so they couldn't make a reservation until I had my new 2024 certificates deposited that would be valid as of June 24. I knew this was incorrect as I have done this many times before but they wouldn't budge. Ultimately I got transfered to the Ambassador desk and they immediately made the reservation despite my not having a "valid" certificate at the time. Sounds like you are an Ambassador so you should be able to do this, but I feel bad for people that aren't because the Ritz CSRs clearly have the wrong training/information.
