Back in the 1980's, on my first visits to Shanghai, there was no choice other than staying at the Peace Hotel.
Then a Sheraton opened, and I stayed there for several years, until the Westin Tai Pin Yang became my
new home in Shanghai. I was trying to recall the location of that Sheraton, and all I can remember is that
is was near a sports stadium. In those days, my supplier picked me up and returned me to the hotel,
there was no subway, and really no need to know where I was. Anyone remember that one?
