It really depends on the contents. Of course, nothing AA has given out in its amenity kits in recent memory is worth taking.
Personally, the best kit I ever received was in JL F where they gave a supplemental kit with great sample sized Shiseido products.
Domestically, while the DL kits aren’t great, they actually contain a great Grown Alchemist lotion that I would buy retail myself, if I didn’t have so many samples from the DL kits to use.
I suppose one person's trash, is another's treasure.
And yes, I fly plenty of non-US 3, foreign flagged carriers. The last one I've even opened was BA in fall 2022 while going to London because I forgot my eye mask. It's a solid eye mask.
