The Points Guy has a piece about this today that has some official AA press photos, and the box does look fairly compact.

I could maybe see the novelty of the kit for a once in a blue moon, FF-redemption traveler. For the power user, the stuff in all of these things is crap and not worth lugging around. I have my own sleep set and dopp kit in my carryon for over night flights. Hospital graze gauze socks and PJs, 37 cent slippers... hard pass.
