Air Canada’s service from BDA back to YHZ operates just one day per week, and it’s not the day you need to travel. In lieu of that, you’ve found a convenient connection involving two nonstop flights, each operated by different airlines and each operating aircraft built by different manufacturers, neither of which is located on the U.S. west coast. Can you identify the two airlines, the connection point and the two aircraft types involved?
CO AB3 already correctly identified for BDA-EWR. CP and F28 already ruled out for EWR-YHZ. I'm not sure if the "different airlines" wording above means that AC (and affiliated regionals) also ruled out. Different from the original scenario or just different form the other airline actually flown in lieu of the once-a-week AC nonstop?
Assuming the former, random guess time: US 100 EWR-YHZ.
