Thanks for confirming.
Although other FTers seem to claim agents are omniscient, I still find it hard to believe they would act on this information about your hotel bookings without bringing it up with your missus before telling her they are denying her boarding.

OK glad I'm not the only husband who writes the wife detailed check in and connection notes (I drew my wife a detailed T2F-T2F FRA connection map, cos I find FRA official website's map hard to read and I knowingly booked her into a 50 min IB-JL exit Schengen connection)

Now with retrospect, we now write "as early as you and your children practically can" as the time to get to T5 in place of 20:00.
