Hello! I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for a relaxed luxury hotel, preferably on the smaller boutique side, in Mexico, Central America, or maybe even the Caribbean. I'm flying out of LAX, so eastern Mexico or the Caribbean is a bit of a stretch for 4 or so nights. My priorities are good vibes, amazing food, a beautiful beach, authenticity, and quiet. I used to go to Verana in Yelapa, and it was perfect, but now I'm looking for something new and perhaps even nicer. I considered the FS Tamarindo but worry that it'll be a bit too big and, nothing against children, but we don't have any so... Anyone have any ideas?

Of course, I've combed through search results and looked at those options. But the kind of places I'm thinking about tend to fly under the radar for awhile before showing up online. And if you've got secrets you prefer to not share on the forum, a message would be greatly appreciated!
