Depends when you fly. I run my own business, so have to stay connected during a working day, to a point. So sometimes I'll book a daytime flight (to JFK etc) and use the wifi to keep in the loop. If it's an evening/overnight or weekend flight, it's different of course.
It's great someone can switch off in a working day, but for me (and many) modern life doesn't allow this. There's so many questions and queries to answer from all sources.
The BA in-flight entertainment is shocking. There's more modern films free on Amazon Prime or Apple TV. Gone are the days where BA allowed us to watch cinema movies shortly after appearing in the cinema. No Oppenheimer, no Blackberry, no Killers of the Flower Moon and certainly no Napoleon. On my flight yesterday I ended up watching Blackberry on my iPad.
