Mexico airport AIFA (NLU) will be connected to the Mexico City Metro starting March 2024 and go through test runs in April 2024. The route will utilize the existing "Suburban Metro" route which is being extended and 50% completed, that travels from Buenavista Metro stop north of the monument of revolution to Cuautitlan metro stop in the State of Mexico in the city and extend on from there using the new to be announced stops the Mexibus system in Mexico State. The cost should be around 120 pesos one-way and about 38 minutes total. So far, this is the quickest trip between CDMX and AIFA airport, however there are scheduled buses (airport to airport) from CDMX airport AICM (MEX) to CDMX airport AIFA (NLU), but a longer trip.
