My AF posted on 12/8 on 2 of my cards. I bought some thing on dell on 1/1. The credits didn't post until 1/7 and I closed the cards. On 1/12, the credits posted. Same thing with airline credits. So, go for it.
I placed my order on 1/14 and initially the ship date was going to be 1/16 (with delivery by 1/18 via 2 day shipping) but now it says shipping is delayed until tomorrow 1/19 which means that the pending charge showing on my card isn't going to post until then. Is it okay to still close my card today with the charge pending and I'll still receive the credit?
I was hoping the charge would have long posted by today and I would have even received my order by today. I specifically ordered a laptop that had a quick ship date, but alas that plan seems to have failed.
