I enquired about adding a cot to our room and the member of staff said the standard room you get on redemption is too small for this, and I would have to pay around 35 SGD per night to upgrade to a premium king room. A few days before the stay I was upgraded for free as a Platinum to a premium king room anyway. The premium king was a good size, we were in room 929 and had a nice view of the apron and taxi ways with lots of traffic for those who have an interest. We skipped the I think 44 SGD per person cost for breakfast and had a perfectly serviceable breakfast in the SATS Premier lounge in T2 via priority pass. I would probably stay again. The location was really convenient for us after a long flight and it was nice checking out The Jewel too. One issues I found was the lifts were super hot due to the outdoor nature of the room corridors.
