Book standard room.
Upgraded to Junior Suite XX37.
(Location of the room is at the very far end from the lift lobby)

How are the rooms?
37 sqm room lounge access non-smoking. 1 king bed.
More like a larger room than a normal 1BR-suite.
No sofa. Only a comfortable single chair with footrest.

Large desk. 2 international power points. NO USB points.
NO HDMI connection to TV. NO chromecast.

King bed. Comfortable. Firm & soft pillows.
Bedside power but NO USB points.

Standard coffee&tea. NO Nespresso machine. 4 bottles of water. Empty mini-fridge.

Large bathroom with bathtub.
SOAK branded body wash / shampoo / conditioner / body lotion.

How is the exec. lounge?
Buffet breakfast (0700am-1100am) in lounge or at Restaurant (0600am-1030am)
Evening cocktails (kid-friendly 4pm-6pm / adults only 6pm-8pm).
Smart casual attire required.

What was good and what was bad?

GOOD
Service staff are passionate, smiling and do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant one.
The breakfast is adequate by choice and quality. Nasi Lemak. Egg station. Salad. Pastries.
Hotel location is excellent. 5-10min walk to Orchard road (shopping center/restaurants) & Somerset MRT.
Club/Executive - free 2 pieces of laundry per day non-accumulative, free local calls, 20% discount for restaurant & in-room dining.
BAD
Hotel/rooms needs some upgrading. Especially to include power/USB points in the room.
Wifi in some areas is intermittent.
