Unclear about early bag check. I'm departing ATL early this Saturday but will be staying at an airport hotel Friday night. Can I check my bag Friday night, so I don't have to wheel it all the way down to the AA counters in the morning then hoof it back to Clear/Precheck? I know some airports don't allow this, but according to AA, ATL is not one of them.

ATL is a schlep for everything!
