AUP is only applicable on the day of flight I believe, but they should be able to process that at LHR if you're doing a back to back. I travel to SOF for work a bit and I've found that AUP at SOF airport is hit and miss, the last time I tried they wanted to sell me one but didn't have a working card machine <facepalm> Have you look at POUG within the app? It's usually around £100-150 (I think I paid £149 the last time I did it).
I don’t think you can do POUG if you have another leg to the journey — we were flying SOF-LHR-JFK in ET/WT+ on our way back on the B2B. I’d already POUG-ed in the app for the one way there for £99 each which seemed good value per TP.
