Newbie here so please forgive me on not knowing the lingo or how to search for this answered elsewhere in prior posts.

If I book international award travel (US to Europe) on AA in Main Cabin (which comes with a checked bag), and my companion books Economy ticket with cash, would my AA Red Aviator entitle my companion to a free bag? I keep reading that's domestic itineraries only. TIA!
