I recently booked a flight using a BA Amex companion voucher and also a Barclays Avios upgrade voucher. I was advised at the time that I needed to do it in two separate bookings which was fine. I booked myself and my son using the companion voucher and my wife using the upgrade voucher on a separate booking.

I’ve just earned silver status and can reserve a seat for free for myself and my son. Is there any way I can do the same for my wife? I mean I don’t care if she’s not sat with us but she might get annoyed. 🙂
