I returned to the US with my 14 yo child at IAH recently. She hadn't used GE in 4 or 5 years, and the last time didn't have the facial recognition system - I recall I had to lift her up for the photo chit that got printed out and handed to the agent. I was skeptical that the facial recognition system would work this time, given her growth and such over the last 40% of her life. Surely a 9 yo face and a 14 yo face change proportions or something. But I guess not, it picked her up as quickly as mine and off we went.
