Thinking of trying Airportr for the first time as I need to be at LHR at 8am next week with 3 large bags to check. In the past I've booked a car, but I'm worried about traffic. Given I live right by a tube station with the Piccadilly line, would be much easier to head to the airport without baggage. Used it a couple of times and very happy. E.g., had work meetings across town on day of travel which made getting around with bike box tricky. They come to your door at an agreed time day before travel. I think they checked BP and passport. Not a lot can go wrong.
