LT Platinum here, checked in on January 7, 2024, for one night and here are my impressions following a format set by a previous poster:

- "Upgraded" to a King polo club view room and was told that it was much better than a Metropolitan Suite. When I asked for the Astor Suite was told that I would have to pay! The King bed room was your run-of-the mill room - nothing special. In fact the King rooms at the Intercontinental Bangkok are much bigger and better. But being that it was for one night and with the polo club view, I went along and didn't press the issue.
- Bed, shower, and hard product was all good but nothing that shouted "ST. REGIS" at you! Awful coconut cake was left in the room as a welcome gift which I got rid of. Cake at the 7-11 tasted better! Turn down was performed.
- Sabrage at sunset at the bar's balcony on the 12th floor with complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Happy hour consisted of one drink per person per night, 3 pieces of really good sushi, limitless refills of chips and nuts. Had 3 more drinks (Rusty nail, Last Word cocktail, and Pellegrino sparkling water) at the bar and the final tab including ++ and tip came out to about $43 - not bad!
- Breakfast offered a variety of stations and was outstanding and all staff performed well. They had a Khao Soi station which is a nice touch. And they have variety of freshly squeezed fruits and vegetables including beetroot juice.
- Butler service was great and we only used it to order coffee, latte, and cappuccino.
- Pool, steam room, jacuzzi, etc. were all excellent. But couldn't find a sauna!
- Wifi worked fine - didn't have time to watch TV.
- Early check in at 1 PM (could been there earlier), and late checkout of 4 PM.

Great to redeem free night but if I have to pay, I would go with SGS or the JW Marriott.
