Just completed a one night stay here which was very pleasant and I’d return. I’m not sure if Titaniums are supposed to get free breakfast although we did in the end. Road noise is also a concern as others have mentioned.
Booking and Check-in: Around €125 for my family of three to book into a triple room. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite (which was not offered on the website for three people, but they had it setup with the fold-out couch made up on our arrival and there was plenty of room for us).
We saw the hotel’s sign as soon as we stepped off the train from Seville. It is less than 5 minutes from the station and you can’t possibly miss it.
Room: Clean and comfortable. There was more road noise than I would’ve liked (so much we thought maybe the windows were open) but my white noise machine blocked it out. I didn’t hear any noise from inside the hotel. The bathroom had a separate shower and tub (which also had a shower head) and worked well.
Breakfast: The only potential hang up was breakfast. My Spanish isn’t so good but my wife’s is and we were sure the checkin agent told us we could choose any of the following as our welcome gift: a $10 F&B credit, 20% off all F&B, free breakfast, or 500 points. We confirmed free breakfast would apply to all three of us and the agent said it would, so we took it and he said he marked us down for free breakfast.
The breakfast was almost all cold but I thought it was good.. several hams and cheeses, juices, breads, fruit, and tortilla espanola. I was happy with it.
At checkout, we were charged for breakfast - I mentioned the agent who checked us in said we’d have free breakfast but this agent said Titaniums don’t get free breakfast. However, he immediately took it off without further discussion. It’s possible we misunderstood what the checkin agent was offering, but I doubt it. Anyway, I wouldn’t count on free breakfast even as a Titanium.
Location: We just did a one-night trip by train so it was perfect. We arrived hungry for dinner the first night and went to the
Mercado Victoria food hall which was very popular, good for kids (you’ll pass a playground on the walk there), and overall a fun spot. It was an easy walk to all the sites we wanted to see.
I liked Cordoba maybe even more than Seville and would like to return, and when I do I’d stay here again.
