I highly recommend this if You use NJ transit train from South Jersey.
If your train isn't stopping at North Elizabeth, you can also get off at Newark Penn Station and take Uber/Lyft from there, as it's not much farther (although there tends to be more traffic). For the benefit of folks unfamiliar with NJT, you do NOT want to take the train to the actual EWR station unless you plan to take the AirTrain, as there is no car access there for Uber/Lyft to pick you up.

Note that Uber/Lyft from Newark Penn or from North Elizabeth doesn't add much to the cost of taking the train to EWR and then the AirTrain, and can actually save you money if you have three or four passengers. From NYC, for example, right now it's $15.75/person to go to EWR and take the Airtrain, but only $5.25/person to go to Newark Penn. A car will typically cost under $30 with tip, sometimes closer to $20. So with three passengers you'll usually come out ahead by skipping the AirTrain AND have a ride right to the terminal.

It's really quite ridiculous that the PA's current "solution" to airport transportation is often MORE expensive than a private car service.
