I’m flying to Delhi on United and have a separate domestic ticket on Air India, which will be the next day. My question is regarding cabin baggage. With United I have a standard roller carryon, a small under seat bag with electronics/passport, etc and a small medical equipment bag. I’ve never had an issue with this on United, just wanted to make sure it would be ok with my domestic flight. The United flight is in J, the Air India domestic flight is in Y from Delhi and in J when I fly back to Delhi, but since these are separate tickets I didn’t think that mattered. I am fairly certain the roller bag and my medical bag should be fine, I couldn’t tell from the Air India website if my smaller under seat electronics bag would be acceptable or if they’d give me a hard time with it. Thanks for your help - I haven’t been to India in over ten years. Back then if you had a separate international flight, even one the next day on a separate ticket, they’d have some leniency but I am sure those days are long gone! Thanks again.
