Each aircraft type needs a STC from the regulator before the new cabin is installed. Previously such STC were issued in weeks, now it takes months. The STC can only be applied for after one line or retrofit is done in one aircraft. This has been done on D-ABPF and D-AIXR and now the approval is pending. The same procedure is followed by all seat/cabin/aircraft manufacturers.
