If it was me I'd head to the airport ( or call ) and try to get rebooked on one of the many earlier AA to DFW flights .. or potentially better still try to get rebooked on the direct flight from SAN .. otherwise definitely looks like you'll be ending up spending the night at DFW ( and given general mess of air traffic in the US today might be challenging getting rooms )
