So where are you stuck? San Diego or DFW?

San Diego Airport is pretty close to the city so there's not really any airport hotels as such. San Diego does have direct BA flights to LHR though, so maybe ask to just be rebooked on one of them.

DFW has a Hyatt in the airport complex, and loads of hotels in the nearby area but I don't have direct experience of any of them.
