I'm travelling *without checked bags* from Tel Aviv to Toronto via FCO. I can see that the El Al flight has typically departed from gate E31 and Air Canada's Toronto flight leaves from E43. I understand that gates can always change -- but assuming the same pattern continues -- since these two gates are in the same terminal area, will I have to leave the terminal and recheck in for the Air Canada flight? The flights are booked on separate reservations.
