For the IHGs in Japan we've stayed at this trip the bread offerings at Beppu were the best, followed by Kimpton Shinjuku, then The Strings. Agreed that the walking croissants delivered tableside were better than what was at the buffet, but nothing to write home (or post on FT) about.
