And there is no CX transit desk at the airport. I did QR928, and the next day, on a CX flight back to HK, there were QR ground staff at MNL's gate and asked me if I wished to enter the Philippines or wait at the airside. I strongly recommend you book a cheap hotel which connects to MNL T3 by bridge. Airside overnight might be a nightmare.
Thanks. I don't have an overnight transit thankfully, I wouldn't even dream of trying that at NAIA T3, which once inside is a bit of a dump. I get in on QR932 at 16:30 and then "connect" onto CX902 at 19:45 on a separate ticket on the same day. I have enough time to go out with bags and check in again if I have to (just about) but I would rather avoid the hassle if at all possible, especially in case QR932 gets in later than expected. Though it generally has an excellent on-time record.
So is it the case that upon deplaning, either QR or CX ground staff (whoever happens to be there) would be able to help me organise the airside transit, assuming that I manage to get my bags checked through to HKG at origin?
