First time using a companion voucher with virgin. Having made the booking, virgin have made a separate booking for my companion (my 6 year old). That means I can't use my silver status to book him a seat 7 days before check in. Also, will it be an issue if there are any flight cancellations etc? The rest of us are on one booking.
