Why would 20F be blocked, as it's apparently not next to a Gold flyer? And 19E and F?
I really really don't want to pay for a seat, but I'm starting to panic. Will 16AB and JK get unblocked 24 hours out? Or am I going to end up with a middle seat?
Generally, I'm a WTP guy and been in this cabin quite a few times. Personally I'd pay either with cash or Avios if the latter suits you and I'd take 19D, for £58 that's not too bad. You can always move if the bassinet seats open up and you can get into them. There's not many choices left and you don't want row 21 as there's no windows there. (See video below at 5:00)
Re the bassinet seats there's no guarantee they'll be available or they're snapped up by someone else for various reasons. i.e they see it earlier, have a connection beforehand and are available.
Re the blocked seats you've posted I think, AIUI, that 20 E and F are blocked (atm) as it's a 'row' as a whole. 19 I'm not so sure. However, Theoretical Seating can change, folks miss their connections, upgrade, change seats themselves etc and it's very fluid. See this thread and post. Others have tried rj.com and had success too in booking if you can't get them on ba.com

The question I'd be asking myself if you end up in a middle seat I'd definitely be thinking to myself "I should have pre-booked my seat"!!!!!!!
ETA: There are 2 seats available to UuA into CW for info, assuming your ticket is eligible............
