Been there, done that. IMO, chargebacks are way more useful when dealing with small businesses (shopping, tour operators, etc.), but for large companies that you'd have an account with, going through customer service channels is almost always easier than disputing the charge. It might seem convenient in the beginning, but once the company starts locking your account and sending the amount to collections, you'd end up with more inconvenience.
