Well, so far I have never had to pull out my physical card for about 8 months and counting. I live in Phoenix, and I frequently travel to the Bay Area, and to Los Angeles. In all cases, I can pay for public transit, stores, food, etc all with just my phone. I suppose this is the future that we have all been waiting for. Here in Phoenix we have an app that has Apple Pay to access transit, whereas with LA and Bay Area, you can use their transit card directly in Apple Wallet itself.

Also, I want to add that TSA accepts my Apple Wallet mobile ID in all circumstances too, so I don't even need that to fly, I continue to carry it anyway though in case something happens with the TSA scanner.

Now I am literally just waiting on Home Depot.
