Well as a heads up, I did ta B2B in AUH 3 nights ago and it was pretty straight forward. I'd printed of my boarding passes at the Sapphire lounge in CGK in prep, did the 10 minute walk to the transfer area, had my bags scanned (no BC check) and 10 minutes walk back to the gate. Now in fairness I'd messaged the station manager in advance and he did greet me with pre printed boarding passes, but I understand they can print them at the gate for you. Anyway point being a B2B in AUH should be fine.
