That is a totally incorrect statement.
Had you made it back in 2019 i would have agreed with you - however since the pandemic recovery started the late swapping of aircraft very rarely occurs.
All of the 10 flights currently in the air (11.30 am HK time) Monday to/from Japan are ether A350s or B777 aircraft.
