I've travelled the QR "old" 77W many times before - it is not a horrible seat (there is in fact plenty of space) but I'll admit that I was really surprised they still use non "all aisle access" planes. Anyway ,thanks for your experience, it's really useful to know and I'll also keep my fingers crossed for you that you keep the QSuite on the way back, but yes, it seems that KUL is not a "priority" route for QR compared to, say, SIN or even HKG which typically gets the (less nice than QR own but nicer than 2-2-2) CX leased frames.
